She has been in the industry for most of her career, specializing in escrow, residential sales, commercial, residential property management, real estate syndication, development, and construction. There isn’t much Kathy can’t help clients with. She focuses the majority of her time in Kailua Kona, making her an expert on the area.
Kathy grew up in Northern California, then moved to Sonoma County's beautiful Dry Creek Valley before settling down in Kona. Kathy studied Archaeology in college as an adult and completed two field seasons in Guatemala. Kathy also lived in Singapore for almost five years, where she volunteered at the National History Museum, teaching children about their history and culture. In 2000, she decided to make warm breezes and blue oceans her reality and moved to the Big Island.
The last 20 years of her life have been dedicated to serving Kailua Kona through residential real estate. Aside from being very knowledgeable, Kathy is helpful and friendly to clients. She truly loves interacting with Buyers and Sellers to provide them with the best real estate experience possible. With Kathy on your family’s team, you can wave stress goodbye. Throughout 20 years in the Kailua Kona market, Kathy has been awarded several designations, including the Graduate Realtor Institute, the Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and a Certified Residential Specialist credential. Aside from these designations, Kathy also has her broker’s license. Kathy’s proudest accomplishment outside her work-life is her family. She has one son and two granddaughters, who she loves keeping up with and visiting. Her favorite hobbies include gardening in the gorgeous Hawaii weather and diving into a new book. Kathy is thriving in Hawaii’s lifestyle! Her clients and work with the Ellison Group make her feel successful, content, and strong. Although Kathy has called some beautiful places her home, there is nowhere else she would rather be.
