For more diverse shopping, Keauhou Shopping Center has many different shops, a grocery store, a drug store as well as restaurants and a movie theatre.
When it comes to dining, nearby Magic’s Beach Grill is a wonderful beachfront establishment that has a menu full of contemporary Hawaiian fusion dishes, cocktails, and brunch options. Another great restaurant in the neighboring area is La Bourgogne - French Restaurant, which serves a variety of European flavors, an extensive wine list, and desserts.

There are many things to do and see in and around Ali’i Heights, whether you want to spend a day relaxing by the ocean or enjoying a local event.
If you are looking for local produce, crafts, or souvenirs, then the Keauhou Farmers Market is the perfect place for you. Selling a variety of fruits and crafts from local farms and artisans, Keauhou Farmers Market has many great items. Another great local event to visit is about 15 minutes away and is the Kailua-Kona: 2-Hour Polynesian Culture ATV Tour, which is a great place to learn about the history of the area.
For those who wish to relax in the sun, try going to Magic Sands Beach Park. Here you can enjoy a day on white sands, see rocky shorelines, and swim in the ocean under the supervision of lifeguards. Another great place to visit is Kiholo Bay, which has beautiful turquoise tidepools and is a great place to see sea turtles.
